Set in the paranoid post-Watergate '70s, The Fury tells the story of two young psychics, Stevens and Irving, who are being manipulated by a covert government agency attempting to harness their awesome powers. Stevens' father, Douglas, comes to their aid, battling the evil Cassavetes. Director De Palma's film, as with most of his work, is highly stylized and often very violent.
