Fortress 2 -- Re-Entry

Belated (but not really anticipated) sequel to Stuart Gordon's 1993 film is nearly on par with its passable original. Lambert is once again a rebel in the future, hiding out from the totalitarian government and raising his "illegal" son (births must be sanctioned by the state) in a log cabin in the woods with his wife. Alas, he's captured again, and sent back to an impenetrable prison that doubles as a space station. This predictable retread is still violent and fast-paced enough to please undiscriminating fans.
