REVIEW
Griffin plays Foolish Waise (if the name is too obvious for your taste, please move on to another movie), an aspiring stand-up comic who's squandering his life on booze, drugs and other clichés that affect our urban youth. His brother is played by Master P, who gives a horrible performance as a minor drug dealer, exactly the life that Foolish doesn't want for himself. That said, within this tired framework, there is the remarkable talent of Griffin, who spends roughly a third of the film (and the entire climax) doing his stand-up routines. It's Richard Pryor-style observation comedy; outrageously profane and obscenely funny. No, it's not a good movie by any means, but it can be mighty entertaining. Editor's Suggestions
