In this surprisingly funny sequel, Chase returns as the glib, wisecracking reporter Fletch who here travels to the heart of Dixie when he inherits an old Southern mansion. There, he quickly becomes involved with the Klan, toxic waste, a TV evangelist, and murder. Chase can deliver a put-down with the best of them, and his impersonations of an array of characters are quite amusing.
