SKINOPSIS

Dennis Quaid stars in this gothic thriller as a man trying to escape his father's (James Caan) murderous past. A double dose of celebrity nudity with a young Gwyneth Paltrow appearing in her first topless role, while Meg Ryan (in a sex scene with her ex) provides a peek of her peaks.
REVIEW
From its intense opening sequence to its haunting end, Flesh and Bone manages to be stylish and suspenseful without being flashy or shocking. Quaid is mesmerizing as a lonely Texas vending-machine supplier whose dark past suddenly sneaks up on him. As in his first film, The Fabulous Baker Boys, writer-director Kloves frames his eye just below the surface of the ordinary to reveal secret things we wish we hadn't seen. Paltrow gives a delightfully droll and dangerous performance.
