REVIEW
From its intense opening sequence to its haunting end, Flesh and Bone manages to be stylish and suspenseful without being flashy or shocking. Quaid is mesmerizing as a lonely Texas vending-machine supplier whose dark past suddenly sneaks up on him. As in his first film, The Fabulous Baker Boys, writer-director Kloves frames his eye just below the surface of the ordinary to reveal secret things we wish we hadn't seen.
