REVIEW
Spader plays a successsful architect who meets in the person of Amick his dream woman. Low-keyed and set at a lethargic pace, the film (ever so) slowly has Spader soon wondering if his new wife and the mother of his child is not only having an affair but if she is really who she says she is. Dream Lover does become mildly interesting when the con becomes evident, and builds to a rather neat twist ending.
