REVIEW
Jarmusch continues on the theme of alienated outsiders in this razor-sharp and decidedly different "road picture." Lurie and Waits (wonderfully cast as a gravel-voice D.J./hipster) meet up in a Louisiana prison where they team with an irrepressible Italian tourist (Benigni) who leads them on a jailbreak through a stark eerie swamp and beyond. An offbeat comedy from one of the most original American filmmakers of today.
