Rivaling Brigitte Bardot for the title for the greatest number of forgettable, grade-B French films, dashing Delon gives his all in this psycho thriller about a man's desperate search for his sanity. After a near-fatal car accident that left him in a coma for three weeks, Delon awakens to find that his memory is completely lost. Paranoia overwhelms him when he begins to suspect that the woman who claims to be his loving wife, the doctor who is supposed to be his best friend and the relatives who visit are merely staging an elaborate charade in some kind of secret conspiracy to drive him crazy.
