REVIEW
This is a truly odd film, based on the same ultrastrange true case that inspired the cult movie The Honeymoon Killers. There's no camp in this one, just an eerie, straightforward retelling of the tale of the doomed lovers and their nasty scheme to rip various spinsters and widows out of their fortunes after marrying and murdering them. Fans of Honeymoon Killers will either enjoy this for its different take on the case or be put off by the film's rather sluggish pacing. (Spanish with English subtitles) Editor's Suggestions
