Oldman and Bacon dance a psychotic pas de deux in this muddled thriller about a rich-kid serial killer (Bacon) who, having been caught, tried, and found not guilty, taunts his defense attorney (Oldman) with the knowledge that he's really guilty and plans to kill again. Britisher Oldman does a knock-out American accent, but it's not enough to overcome the shaky story line and plotting.
