Yet another in the glut of "steamy erotic thrillers," this one from the director of Presumed Innocent. A night of passion erupts into murder and betrayal when a married man (Kline) finds his neighbor's wife too tempting to resist. Mastrantonio is the betrayed wife, and a creepy Spacey is the cuckold husband -- or is he? What could have been an A-1 thriller is defeated by ridiculous plot contrivances and oh-so-predictable twists and turns.
