REVIEW
Only sporadically funny, this Murphy comedy is surprisingly good-natured, a change of pace for the comic. An African prince (Murphy) engaged to a native woman decides to leave his home and head to New York in search of true love. Hall is his "man Friday" who accompanies the prince on his quest. What ensues is a rather formulaic fish-out-of-water tale with most of its jokes telegraphed hours before they arrive.
