REVIEW
A completely witless, slick and formulaic piece of celluloid junk food. Cruise stars as a young go-getter who arrives in the Big Apple, ready to cut himself a slice of the Wall Street action. To his dismay, he ends up working in a trendy Uptown bar where - under the tutelage of master bartender and part-time philosopher Brown - he's seduced by the life of quick money and easy women.
