"Saturday Night Live"'s Rock stars in this hip-hop, gangsta rap parody, which he cowrote with former music critic and author Nelson George. The film, which starts out as a hysterically funny pseudo-documentary, strays from its course by turning into a narrative tale and morality play. The film is filled with hilarious moments that are sharp-witted comments on African-American, B-Boys stereotypes, but all of that is lost in a weak story.
