Sting plays Dr. Frankenstein whose monster (Brown) runs away from the lab after being rejected by his newly created bride-to-be (Beals). On the road, the goodhearted but muddled monster is befriended by a conniving midget (Rappaport). The friendship that develops is both funny and touching and makes the film worth watching despite the inane activities going on back at Frankenstein's castle.
