A battered teen leaves her small town for the rough 'n' tumble streets of the big city. A frail, bruised but still beautiful Jennifer (Wuhrer) runs off to Toronto in an effort to escape from her abusive white-trash boyfriend. Penniless and friendless, she is clutched from the city's mean streets by Ola (Chong), a tough-talking prostitute (yes, with a heart of gold). The tired plot features an over-acting Phillips as the bad pimp, a seen-it-all cop (Henriksen) and a bevy of stereotypical whores. The film takes a Sapphic turn when the two women realize that they love each other. But love proves to be fleeting as violence rears its head.
