REVIEW
Infectiously silly and sporadically amusing, Booty Call isn't nearly as tasteless as its title would suggest. Buppie Davidson and his girlfriend of seven weeks bring along their respective best friends (who have never met) for a double date. The men make a "gentlemen's bet" to see who will bed their girl first. Not at all original but still able to produce a few laughs, Booty Call contains annoying gay and immigrant stereotyping, sloppy editing and moronic, sub-sitcom situations. And even at a scant 77 minutes, it feels too long. Still, the four leads are enthusiastic and appealing, and the film is marginal, dumb fun. It also has one truly hilarious scene when the two male leads nearly kill themselves with Glad Wrap!
