Pacino makes a valiant effort to breathe some life into this turgid romantic drama, but even his talents can't save this story of a race car driver who falls in love with socialite Keller, who's suffering from "Ali MacGraw's Disease." (And Al, next time, leave the impressions to Rich Little.)
