SKINOPSIS

Ok first off, this is the best movie ever. Secondly, Tara Reid utters the words "I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars," while wearing a bikini and this was a pre-American Pie Tara, not the Tara of today with whom the thousand dollars would have to go to the one getting their dick sucked. Thirdly, Julianne Moore flies through the air hurling paint and her bush flies through the frame with her. Fourthly, you already know that this is a movie you need to own because you've seen it and you laughed your ass off. And, if you live under a rock and haven't seen it, you need to rectify that today... right now or else you will live the rest of time "like a child who's just wandered into a room."

3 REASONS TO BUY THIS FILM

  • More memorable quotes than any other bowling movie... and that includes Kingpin and Grease 2
  • This 2-disc edition comes just in time, because I've watched my DVD so much it's worn out. Who knew that DVDs could wear out?
  • If chicks see this DVD on your wall, you're guaranteed to get laid. Guaran-fucking-teed.
REVIEW
His name is The Dude, a stoned-out aging hippie surfer. And as hilariously played by Bridges in the Coen brothers' ecstatic, consistently funny and loopy comedy about bowling, mistaken identity and kidnapping, The Dude can certainly lay claim to such a moniker. Sharing in common only the same birth name, The Dude (alias Jeff Lebowski) is mistaken by some small-time hoods for a millionaire businessman (Huddleston), whose young trophy wife has been kidnapped. Soon, The Dude becomes entangled in a series of comic misadventures and neo-noir intrigue throughout L.A. which would make Raymond Chandler re-think The Big Sleep as a Marx Brothers vehicle. Brimming with broad humor, high energy and lots of laughs, the film is buoyed by the strong support of the dead-on Goodman, whose tirades and philosophies could have only been penned by the Coens, and appreciated by someone known as The Dude.
