The tension burns hot in this island prison camp for women. The only men for miles are the slovenly homosexual guards who stifle and censure the inmates' sexual desires. Sexual offenders are sentenced to toll away their time on the sugar cane mill known as The Big Bird Cage. The luscious actress Terry Rich (Ford) lands in this hell hole after numerous sexual escapades with assorted sordid politicians. Enter the gun-toting revolutionaries, Blossom (Grier) and her man Django (Haig) who infiltrate the prison and plot to overthrow the guards.
