This extremely disappointing sequel has none of the ingredients which made the first film the popular success it was. Murphy tries his best, but how many times can we watch him con his way into ritzy Beverly Hills establishments? There's some slick, polished direction by Scott, but it can't hide the formulaic script and forced performances. For die-hard Murphy fans only.
