REVIEW
This delightfully funny low-budget gem, an Anglicized, feminist homage to Woody Allen, explores the loving and tempestuous relationship between two decidedly different women. Antonia, the plain-looking, insecure but adventurous one narrates the film's opening, giving details of her hilarious obsession with Jane, her pretty, married and seemingly well-balanced childhood friend whom she is about to meet for their annual lunch. Midway through the film, Jane takes over the narration duties and gives us her side of the story. Pleasantly amusing and deceptively simple, Antonia and Jane is highly recommended.
