Connery stars as the mastermind of an elaborate scheme to rob every apartment in a large complex. Little does he know that, for one reason or another, each vault is under surveillance. The tension, along with the irony, is high in this entertaining action film from director Lumet. However, Balsam's gay caricature is offensive.
