Adjusting to a new home in the suburbs after the passing of their mother, young children Damian and Anthony rely on their whimsical imaginations and world of fantasy to distract them from their sorrow. One day while Damian (Etel, the heart of the film who is easy to adore) is lost in a daydream, a huge sack of money lands at his feet. Sharing the news only with his brother, the boys decide to keep it a secret from their father but both have different agendas on how to spend the money. Damian wants to give it away to those who need it while Anthony’s plans are to blow it on anything and everything before a currency conversion makes the funds completely worthless. It’s a race against time, especially for the criminals who are on a ferocious mission to retrieve the money. Blending a colorful combination of crime and comedy, Millions is a very charming accomplishment filled with tender characters and is expressed visually with vibrant imagination.
